sooooo i think i am going to trade my sigma 18-35 1.8 art lens EF - what do you think? i like the 18-35 but super bulky. i have wrote on 7 review video's of others about this trade and still haven't received one reply - please reply lol
Hi there! Thanks for your comment! Of course, ultimately it comes down to personal preference. The Sigma 18-35mm is bulkier, especially with the EF-R adapter, but it offers the larger 1.8 aperture. If you're willing to shoot at f/2.8 instead of f/1.8 I think it would be a great trade! If you want to start a trade you can start a free online quote at usedphotopro.com/quote!
Do Sigma have any plans for RF mount Telephoto lence like 150-600mm. And what is your Opinion of using EF to RF mount converter for Sigma 150 to 600 or 60 to 600 with Canon R7
Hey! Unfortunately, we don't have any information on Sigma's plans to release lenses, but we can assume they will slowly start adding more RF lenses which will hopefully include the 150-600mm. As far as adapting, that shouldn't be a problem at all. You'll just want to make sure to be very careful not to put too much pressure on the mount/adapter with a lens that large! I currently use an R7 with a Canon 17-55 2.8 with an adapter for R mount, what are the differences between these lenses? Is it worth the change? The weight difference is very noticeable, but is the quality worth it for the change?
Hi there! I don't have the 17-55 with me to do a test, but aside from the advancements in the optics, I believe the size, weight, and speed of the lens will also be improved. Another benefit would be using the native mount, which also helps keep things small.
If you carefully compare the photos of this camera with others on the dpreview, in some aspects it is better than all others EXCEPT cameras that cost from $5000
Outstanding camera for its price! I have it and its perfect, much better then other competitors. Get viltrox 75 mm 1,2 (!!! unreal thing) and 27 1,2 - and you can make great shots everywhere

Hi there, sorry for the delay. Unfortunately due to the extreme popularity of the X100VI, not much is known right now about when we can expect to see these orders fulfilled.
I purchased this lens. What is the round button next to the customizable (1-2-3) buttons. Is it unusable until you designate a feature to it or is it active. Along with the focus ring (not the zoom ring) as well. Is that active or dormant until I assign a setting to it??
Custom/Option button... you assign a button to it in your camera like the G series lens.

Why is the 28mm adapter a seemingly wider focal length than the built in 23mm in the examples?
Great question! That is because the 23mm isn’t adjusted for the full frame equivalent and the two adapters are. The native lens is about a 35mm equivalent, the 28 is a little wider, and the 50 is more narrow. I hope that helps!
